This year marks a very special year for blogging for me. I wrote my very first blog for the Joint Math Meetings in San Diego in 2008, which also happened to be my very first JMM. So it is a special treat that I get to come back for blogging five years later to the same place. This week, I will be absent from this blog to write my sixth JMM blog. Go here for day to day blog posts about the meetings, pictures, summaries of my favorite talks, and pictures. Also, this year we will feature a special guest blogger, Tyler Clark, who is the editor-in-chief of the AMS Graduate Student Blog. Finally, it’s not too late to register for the meetings! You can do this on-site at the San Diego Convention Center. More info can be found on the meetings page. See you on the other side!

Interesting. I’ll be there too. I also started my blog in 2008 and was at the 2008 JMM!
