I wrote my very first <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ams.org\/jmm2008\/\">blog<\/a> for the Joint Math Meetings in San Diego in 2008, which also happened to be my very first JMM. So it is a special treat that I get to come back for blogging five years later to the same place. This week, I will be absent from this blog to write my sixth JMM blog. Go <a href=\"http:\/\/blogs.ams.org\/jmm2013\/\">here<\/a> for day to day blog posts about the meetings, pictures, summaries of my favorite talks, and pictures. Also, this year we will feature a special guest blogger, Tyler Clark, who is the editor-in-chief of the <a href=\"http:\/\/mathgradblog.williams.edu\/\">AMS Graduate Student Blog<\/a>. Finally, it&#8217;s not too late to register for the meetings! You can do this on-site at the San Diego Convention Center.
