I am helping in the beginning and experienced Calculus AB teachers&#8217; \u00a0workshop led by Benita Albert from Oak Ridge in Tennessee. Even though the workshop is geared towards helping high school teachers convey the material better, I have learned a lot of new techniques for teaching my own college students.<\/p>\n<p>Benita claims she is crazy for many reasons. One of the most interesting I heard from her today is how she looks at students and people and sees functions. It has gotten me to thinking, what type of function do I want her to see me as. Have you ever associated functions with people?
