On Sunday, I posted about changes in Wolfram|Alpha. Today, Wolfram released Wolfram|Alpha Pro.<\/p>\n

Starting today, everyone has access to Wolfram|Alpha Pro at\u00a0wolframalpha.com<\/a>. Unlike the \u201ctourist\u201d version of Wolfram|Alpha, though, you have to log in, and, yes, to get full capabilities there\u2019s a subscription ($4.99\/month, or $2.99\/month for students).\u00a0(Right now, you can try it for free with a\u00a0trial subscription<\/a>.)<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s talk first about output. Once you\u2019ve logged in, you have access to your history, and you can define favorites.\u00a0You can also set preferences, like what location Wolfram|Alpha should assume, or what unit system you want to use.\u00a0And you can do things like change the overall size of Wolfram|Alpha output.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

By scrolling over the output, the new buttons that are available are\u00a0enlarge, data download, customize and size image, copyable plaintext, and enable interactivity.<\/p>\n
